Resurrection shows how the people's house is getting renovated

A film by John Kaul is provides a fascinating look at the renovations going on at the MN State Capitol. You may be surprised at the scope of the project (it's huge), and when you look at work sites and see the incredible changes inside because of this radical overhaul, well, you have to see it to believe it: the tour is riveting.

Says Kaul, "The Minnesota State Capitol is undergoing a massive restoration after years of neglect.  The cost could exceed $300 million when everything is restored.  The restoration will, to the maximum extent possible, bring back a building very similar to its appearance when it first opened 109 years ago.  All the dust, noise and dislocation will be deemed worthwhile when this stunning architectural marvel is unveiled in January of 2017."
